The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013 ensures a safe and dignified working environment for women by preventing and addressing incidents of sexual harassment. The Act mandates the constitution of Internal Complaints Committees (ICCs) in workplaces and provides a mechanism for Redressal.
The District Collectors are notified as District Officers who will constitute Local Complaints Committee (LCC) in every district.
