About ECCE

Early childhood is the most important developmental phase in a human’s life, when a child’s brain grows exponentially and when the foundations of a range of developmental competencies are established. Early childhood care and education (ECCE) is one of the core services of the Anganwadi centres. Concrete initiatives have been taken up for strengthening of ECCE in the State towards providing and ensuring a natural, joyful and stimulating environment, with emphasis on necessary inputs for optimal growth and development of the children.
