Nari Adalat is a community-based platform established to facilitate accessible justice for women at the grassroots level. It provides an informal forum where women members from the community mediate and resolve disputes related to domestic violence, family conflicts, property issues, and other gender-related matters. The initiative promotes dialogue, counselling, and peaceful settlement of disputes, reducing the need for lengthy legal processes.
Nari Adalats would be implemented in 10 selected GPs in Aspirational districts in the state.
